Each spring a limited number of guests have the opportunity to join Hell's A-Roarin' ranch staff in their annual horse drive. Ride and work along side the wranglers as nearly 100 horses are relocated to their summer pastures. A unique and one of a kind experience.

The annual Hell's A'Roarin' horse drive is an exciting Gardiner community tradition each Memorial Day Weekend. Come spring, horses are relocated from their winter quarters to the cool high altitude summer stables at the Hells A' Roarin Ranch above Jardine Montana. Join in the trill of wrangling and driving the riding stock from Gardiner's Rodeo grounds to the ranch's cool high summers pastures, eight miles up Ash Mountain.

Combine an overnight stay at the ranch for horseback riding with a Flying Pig Rafting overnight rafting trip and you've got a full 3 days and 2 nights of fun and exploration in the Yellowstone /Gardiner area. You'll spend one night in a charming Montana cabin, and one night tent camping on the river. Leave the work to your hosts and guides, the meals and gear are provided and organized so you don't have to worry about a thing.

Night time temperatures are cool, jackets and sweatshirts that can be layered with daytime clothing are ideal. Remember to bring personal items for your overnight stay including medications and toiletries. A small bag is ideal, and your guides will ensure it arrives safe and dry at camp!
